I have an ipaq 2215 and it runs most games very well.... ~25fps or so. Some tend to work better than others, but with frameskipping enabled most games are quite playable (Except for too many button pushes).

The 2215 is the best PPC I have owned yet...

hmm i dont think its the pda that is to slow i think its the emulater it just doesnt run any faster than 30 frames a 200 mhz procer should work great since i was able to play every emulator on a simple 133 mhz computer. ow yeah the pocketnes rules it runs allot faster then all of the others.

if ther is a faster emulator please e-mail me i would be happy to help you out if you have some questions aswell

Yeah, you can get pretty decent game play by toning down on the alpha and decreasing the frame rate. I have secret of mana on my 335, unless i'm on a level where i'm walking through water, i'll leave off the alpha.

PocketSNES works pretty well on my iPAQ 4510. Though, I can't get any sound the game play is wicked. I was playing donkey kong a little while ago and boy did that bring back some memories. Anyway, it would have been perfect if I only had sound.. In anycase, good luck!

PPC is powerpc as in apple computers. Pocket PCs are actually refered to as PKPCs. Please use PKPC whenever you are shortening Pocket PC, its better understood that way, honestly.

I've never heard or seen anyone refer to Pocket PC as PKPC. I see PPC once in a while.

I have a Dell Axim X30 and, while you have to boost the proccesor all the way up, it runs every last SNES game out there at full speed. It's just so wonderful to play Super Mario RPG wherever I go!
P.S. It plays sound pretty well too.....I love it. Just have a hard time finding roms......

i have a toshiba e800, recently dled pocketSNES but doesn't seem to work - title screen for pocketsnes is OK, but once i load a rom in it will freeze on the title screen. i got the most recent version of pocketSNES "Bleeding Edge" 1.12.200...it only has one .exe file. I read somewhere that you're supposed to dl the original pocketSNES first and replace the .exe file of the "Bleeding Edge". Is that the reason i can't play the games? If so, where can i find this original version? Thanks heaps guys

Hmm, my iPAQ has a 400 Mhz CPU, but even then it wouldn't run smoothly... then I just tried a newer version, and now its running like honey....

1.12.200-ARM try this one.

even a GBA emulator works perfectly now...

But sound is bad...
