The presentation is very clear, and it is nice that it is divided into two section. Even though they are connected contextually, the seperation makes them more clear to follow and less confusing.
Thanks,
Halil

great tutorial. will come in handy.
-- Andrew Suensanong , February 18, 2002

Hmm...I disagree with many of these comments above. I don't find the presentation easy to follow because of the obvious absence of the main part of the presentation: Dr. Miller himself. Slides are usually very hard to follow without a talk, I would recommend adding notes or talking points or something to these slides to make them more informative (especially the slides that simply say "Discuss...")
-- Stephen Elliott , February 26, 2002

Finally - easy to understand presentations on webservices
-- L N , March 01, 2002

Difficult to follow for a beginner. Visually, they seem like they were written in a half-hour period.
-- Adam Patridge , March 01, 2002

Very good!
-- Kuniaki Tran , March 03, 2002

As a newbie, this presentation just didn't help me out. I agree with the above post that detailed lecture notes (or a cool voice-over) would help.

Very informative... thanks!
-- A B C , March 15, 2002

Nice work!
-- Justin Smyth , March 21, 2002

The slides, in general, are very easy to follow. Of course what would really make the presentation better is to see it live.
-- Curtis Thomas , March 21, 2002

Excellent Presenation, I just wish I could have seen it live
-- Tim Chartrand , March 22, 2002

-- Dan Belcher , March 27, 2002

Jim is a great speaker
-- Michael Tung , March 28, 2002

Very informative. Additional notes for those of us who just see this online would be helpful.
-- Craig Gerardi , April 01, 2002

I agree with Stephen. Slides are simply visual aides, not a discussion or presentations. A nice mp3 recording of the presentation would add significantly to the slide show.

Further, a short description of what the show is discussing and why would be helpful.
-- Wyatt Taylor , April 04, 2002
